How do I create a CV?
- Create a free account. Start with a role, upload a PDF, DOCX or TXT CV, or paste a LinkedIn profile URL.
- Make the draft yours. Add your experience, edit sections directly or describe a change in chat. Review the wording and any assumptions before applying.
- Choose a design and download. Save your CV as a PDF or an editable Word document. Create separate versions for different roles.
Eight CV designs, PDF and Word exports
Choose Bullet Modern, Classic ATS, Compact ATS, Executive, Editorial Sidebar, Minimal, Studio or Heritage. The selected design is used for your PDF and Word downloads. A profile photo is optional.
Classic ATS and Compact ATS offer straightforward layouts for applications. Follow the employer’s instructions on file format and content; no layout guarantees an ATS result or an interview.
First jobs, skilled work and career changes
You do not need a degree or paid work history to start. Include study, projects, placements, volunteering, practical skills, training and licences that you actually have.
For a career change or a return to work, create a separate version that highlights transferable skills. Career-break details come from the information you choose to share.
Can I turn my LinkedIn profile into a CV?
Yes. Paste your personal LinkedIn profile URL to import available public career information. Review it for missing or outdated details. If access is restricted, upload a profile PDF or paste the profile text instead.
No LinkedIn password or account connection is used for this import.
